RCC Fabricators recently completed work to fabricate bollard rings and mooring posts for the Port Authority of NY & NJ at their Greenville Yard Transfer Bridge.  These enormous rings are 8’ in diameter and weigh 8,800 lbs each.  A total of fifteen rings will be delivered for installation on each side (New York and New Jersey) of the bridge.  In addition, fifteen spotting poles each weighing 2,100 lbs and standing 15’ tall were included in the job.  The rings and posts will enable the mooring of the barges transporting railroad freight cars from Brooklyn, NY, across the Hudson River, to Greenville, NJ.
