RCC Fabricators, Inc. was one of the many exhibitors to participate at the SOLD OUT American Short Line Regional Railroad Association’s (ASLRRA) 2015 Connections, March 27-31 in Orlando, FL. This event is one of the industry’s largest educational and networking events of the year. With more than 230 exhibit booths, 40 breakout sessions and a huge crowd, the opportunities to build on existing relationships and form new ones were plentiful.
ASLRRA Connections provided RCC Fabricators, Inc. with the opportunity to promote the Tie Master and Tie Master Gen III to potential buyers while reconnecting with current users who were happy to proclaim their satisfaction with the machine and offer suggestions for upgrades on future models. Bruce Knight, Chief Mechanical Officer for Mid-America Locomotive and Car Repair stopped by to offer his thanks for introducing him to the Tie Master almost four years ago at the ASLRRA 2011 Connections. Peter Symons, Superintendent of Track and Pete Simcox, Director of Engineering with North Shore Railroad Company also paid a visit. North Shore Railroad Company has been a client and user of the Tie Master for more than 10 years. In addition, numerous new leads were gathered for our custom rail and bridge fabrication endeavors.
It was gratifying to learn that our existing short line customers are pleased with our services and we look forward to working with many of the new contacts made at the show.
A special thanks to ASLRRA, especially Kathy Keeney for her assistance, kindness and record response time.
